Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Wooden Factory Manager to oversee daily operations, production, and team management in our woodworking/manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for optimizing productivity, maintaining high standards of quality and safety, managing resources effectively, and leading a skilled team in producing wooden products such as furniture, cabinetry, doors, or other wood-based items. Key Responsibilities: Production Management: Plan, coordinate, and oversee production schedules to meet delivery timelines. Monitor manufacturing processes to ensure efficiency and quality. Implement lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste and improve productivity. Team Leadership: Manage, train, and supervise factory staff including carpenters, machine operators, and technicians. Foster a positive and productive work environment. Conduct performance evaluations and ensure continuous skill development. Quality Control: Establish and enforce quality standards for all wooden products. Inspect finished goods and production processes for defects and inconsistencies. Coordinate with the Quality Assurance team to implement corrective actions. Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure all operations comply with occupational health and safety regulations. Promote a culture of safety and maintain a clean, hazard-free workplace. Inventory & Resource Management: Monitor raw material levels and coordinate procurement with the supply chain team. Oversee maintenance of machinery and ensure all equipment is in working condition. Control operational costs and reduce waste. Reporting & Documentation: Prepare and present regular reports on production, workforce, and factory performance. Maintain accurate production and maintenance records. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Management, Mechanical Engineering, Wood Technology, or related field (preferred). 2+ years of experience in woodworking or wood manufacturing industry. Proven experience in managing factory operations and leading teams. Strong understanding of wood types, machinery, and woodworking processes. Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills. Knowledge of lean manufacturing, ERP systems, and production planning tools. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
