Job Title: Aluminium/MIG/TIG Welder Reports to: Production Supervisor/Manager Department: Production/Welding Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Aluminium/MIG/TIG Welder to join our production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for welding aluminium alloys, MIG, and TIG welding processes, and ensuring high-quality welds that meet our company's standards. Key Responsibilities: 1. Welding: Weld aluminium alloys, MIG, and TIG welding processes, and ensure high-quality welds that meet our company's standards. 2. Blueprint Reading: Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate welds. 3. Quality Control: Inspect welds for defects and imperfections, and take corrective action. 4. Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts. 5. Material Handling: Handle and manage heavy materials, including aluminium alloys. 6. Teamwork and Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members, including welders, fabricators, and quality control inspectors. 7. Safety Protocols: Follow safety protocols, including personal protective equipment (PPE), fire safety, and emergency procedures. 8. Production Planning: Understand production plans, including schedules, workflows, and material requirements. 9. Inventory Management: Manage inventory, including tracking, ordering, and stocking materials and supplies. 10. Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to improve processes, reduce waste, and improve quality. Requirements: 1. Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in welding or a related field preferred. 2. Experience: Minimum 4 years of experience in aluminium welding, MIG, and TIG welding processes. 3. Skills: Proficient in blueprint reading, quality control, equipment maintenance, material handling, and safety protocols. 4. Physical Demands: Ability to lift and manage heavy materials, including aluminium alloys, and work in a standing position for long periods. Working Conditions: 1. Work Environment: Work is performed in a manufacturing environment, with exposure to heat, noise, and welding fumes. 2. Safety Equipment: Required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE), including welding helmet, gloves, and safety glasses. 3. Overtime: May be required to work overtime, including evenings and weekends. Salary and Benefits: 1. Salary Range: 250,000 - 400,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. 2. Benefits Package: PF, ESIC, Transportation, Yearly Bonus, Food and refreshment.
