The Hardware Lead Engineer is a key position in the Hardware Business Unit. The Key objectives for this role will include: Drive multiple people team and multiple projects. Experience building high-quality Embedded Products with best practices. Experience in architecture definition, detailed design & complete hardware development cycle including product validation and qualification with respect to regulatory compliances. Development of electronic products in power domain. Ability to develop new approaches to complex design problems. Participate in discussions for high level requirements analysis. Client management through weekly Project review calls. Technical Experience Required: Experience on all stages of Hardware Product Development Lifecycle. Processors / Controllers: ST, Microchip, TI, Freescale, NXP High Speed Board designing, Multi-layer Board design, Signal integrity (HyperLynx), Board Bring up. Experience in SMPS designs, High voltage and power design, Analog and mixed signal design, Signal conditioning, Metering design Knowledge of interfaces like CAN, LIN, USB, I2C, SPI, UART would be plus. Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) / Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) compliance. Various tools like ORCAD, ALLEGRO, ALTIUM, PADS. Lab instruments like Multi-meters, Oscilloscope, Function Generator, Logic analyzer etc. Experience in handling Team. Education - B.E/B.tech/M.Tech

Role & responsibilities: 1. Hardware Design: Design and develop electronics hardware, including PCBs, electronic components, and systems, for defense products. 2. Schematic Capture: Create and review schematic diagrams for electronics hardware. 3. PCB Design: Design and develop PCBs, including component selection, placement, and routing. 4. Testing and Validation: Develop and execute test plans to validate electronics hardware, identifying and resolving issues as needed. 5. Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues related to electronics hardware, implementing corrective actions as needed. 6. Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams, including software, mechanical, and systems engineering, to ensure seamless integration of electronics hardware. Preferred candidate profile: 1. Experience with specific industries: Experience working on defense products, including radar, communication systems, or electronic warfare systems. 2. Experience with specific design tools: Experience with design tools, such as thermal analysis, mechanical simulation, or other relevant tools. 3. Certifications: Certification in Electronics Engineering, PCB Design, or a related field. Education: Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical, or Aerospace Engineering. Experience : Minimum 8 years of experience in electronics hardware design and development, with experience working on defense products. Skills: Strong knowledge of electronics hardware design principles. Experience with CAD tools, such as Altium, Cadence, or other relevant tools. Familiarity with electronics components, including analog and digital circuits. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
