The Senior Technical Trainer role at Cummins Inc. involves supporting the planning, design, and delivery of training programs focused on Cummins engine systems and diagnostic tools. This position requires a combination of deep technical expertise in engine technologies, instructional design skills, and facilitation abilities to enhance the capabilities of the workforce. The ideal candidate should possess extensive experience in engine diagnostics, fuel systems, and electronic control systems. Collaborating closely with internal teams, vendors, and educational institutions is essential to deliver impactful learning experiences. Key Responsibilities: - Designing and developing instructional content in alignment with Cummins standards, which includes participant guides, instructor materials, presentations, assessments, and job aids. - Conducting training needs analysis and audience assessments to customize learning solutions. - Delivering instructor-led and virtual training sessions on engine diagnostics, fuel systems, and electronic controls. - Evaluating and recommending external training programs and vendors when necessary. - Coordinating logistics for training events, including scheduling, communication, materials, and facilities. - Maintaining training records and monitoring individual and group progress using standard tools and systems. - Analyzing training effectiveness through evaluation data and suggesting improvements. - Acting as a mentor and resource for less experienced trainers and technical staff. - Addressing training-related inquiries and support requests promptly and professionally. Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent is required. - Relevant technical certifications or advanced training in engine systems are preferred. - This position may necessitate licensing to comply with export controls or sanctions regulations. Preferred: - Experience in instructional design and training delivery. - Familiarity with Cummins methodologies and learning technologies.,
