Job Title: OEM Marketing Manager Experience Required: 10 to 15 Years Qualification: B.Tech (Mechanical / Electrical / Automotive Engineering preferred) Industry: Starter Motor and Alternator (Mandatory) Location: Pune and Faridabad Reports To: Business Head Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced and dynamic OEM Marketing professional with strong domain expertise in Starter Motor and Alternator products. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing key OEM accounts, driving business growth, and handling product marketing strategies specific to the automotive component industry. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key OEM customers (existing and new). Identify business opportunities and ensure revenue and profitability targets are met. Lead RFQ process, pricing strategy, negotiation, and order finalization with OEMs. Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Quality, Production, SCM) for smooth project execution and customer satisfaction. Analyze market trends, customer feedback, and competitor activities to formulate marketing strategies. Lead the product positioning and branding efforts specifically for starter motors and alternators. Prepare and deliver technical and commercial presentations to OEMs. Ensure timely resolution of customer complaints, warranty claims, and quality concerns. Collaborate with R&D and Application Engineering teams for new product development as per OEM requirements. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulations, standards, and technologies related to the automotive electrical systems market. Key Skills & Competencies: In-depth knowledge of starter motors, alternators, and related technologies. Strong OEM relationship management and B2B marketing skills. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities. Strong understanding of pricing models, cost analysis, and margin management. As a Senior Manager - Alternator Design & Development , you will lead the entire product lifecycle of alternators for automotive applications. This is a deeply technical, hands-on role demanding expertise in core alternator engineering not a project management position. You will architect designs, resolve complex engineering challenges, and validate performance through rigorous testing Key Responsibilities: Technical Leadership: Own end-to-end alternator design, from concept to production, ensuring compliance with automotive standards. Conduct advanced FEA simulations (electromagnetic, structural, thermal) to optimize performance, durability, and NVH. Lead DFMEA, root cause analysis, and design validation plans. Core Engineering: Design and refine armature windings, rotor assemblies, and magnetic circuits for efficiency, power density, and manufacturability.Develop voltage regulation strategies and mitigate electrical/mechanical losses. Resolve NVH challenges through structural and electromagnetic optimization. Validation & Testing: Define and execute alternator testing methodologies (performance, durability, environmental).Analyze test data to drive design improvements and ensure reliability targets. Cross-functional Collaboration: Interface with manufacturing, suppliers, and customers to ensure design feasibility and scalability. Mentor junior engineers in alternator design principles.
