As a Senior Corrosion Engineer at our company in Jamnagar, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our commitment to innovative solutions in the Oil and Gas sector. Your expertise in corrosion prevention, testing, and related chemical engineering practices will support the integrity and longevity of our installations, contributing to our continuous growth and leadership in the industry. Your key responsibilities will include aiding the department head in setting objectives aligned with business goals, assessing and addressing training needs of inspection engineers, ensuring all department activities are carried out safely, participating in reliability assurance activities, reviewing inspection reports and recommendations, conducting root cause analysis of failures, and liaising with statutory authorities for compliance with respect to static equipment. You will also be involved in detailed planning and execution of major shutdown activities, conducting vendor assessments, evaluating contractor performance, and administering contracts. Your skills in operating discipline, analytical thinking, communication, and knowledge of design codes, maintenance systems, materials, and metallurgy will be essential for success in this role. To qualify for this position, you should have a BE/ME in Mechanical Engineering or Metallurgical Engineering, valid certification in ASNT/ISNT Level II in at least two techniques, training in root cause analysis, certification in at least two API standards, and certification in CSWIP/AWS.
