Key Responsibilities: Monitor daily site activities to ensure safety protocols are followed during gas line installations, maintenance, and commissioning. Conduct risk assessments, hazard identifications (HAZID), and job safety analysis (JSA) related to gas systems, including high-pressure pipelines and confined spaces. Ensure compliance with local and international safety standards (e.g., OSHA, NEBOSH, IGEM, PESO). Supervise the correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE), gas detectors, and emergency equipment. Lead safety inductions and toolbox talks tailored to gas-related hazards. Conduct incident investigations, root cause analyses, and follow-up corrective actions. Maintain documentation related to work permits (Hot Work, Confined Space Entry, etc.) and ensure safe work practices. Coordinate and conduct safety audits and inspections on site. Support emergency preparedness, including drills for gas leaks, fires, or explosions. Ensure contractors and subcontractors follow the same safety standards. Report all unsafe conditions and near-misses to management and follow up on corrective measures.
