Purpose of the Job: In this exciting role, you will play a key part in driving sales growth for our portfolio of plastic masterbatches. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with existing and new clients, understanding their specific needs, and recommending the best solutions to enhance their product performance and efficiency. Key Responsibilities Sales and Customer Engagement: Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify and qualify new business opportunities within assigned territories through market research, networking, and industry events. Develop and implement sales strategies and tactics to achieve targets. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships, brand loyalty with existing and new customers by understanding their needs, providing technical guidance, and exceeding expectations. Sales & Negotiation: Develop and present customized proposals, negotiate competitive pricing and terms, and secure new accounts to achieve and exceed sales targets. Product Knowledge: Build a strong understanding of Alok Masterbatches' product offerings and their applications in the plastics industry. Market Awareness: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and new technologies relevant to plastic additives. Identify and develop new business opportunities in the masterbatches and additives markets. Provide regular reports on sales performance and market insights. Reporting & Analysis: Prepare regular sales reports, analyse performance metrics, and identify opportunities for growth. Collaboration: Work effectively with internal teams including production, marketing, and technical support to ensure seamless customer service. Coordinate with the sales/production team to achieve organization overall objectives. Qualification Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Polymer Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field from CIPET (or equivalent institute) OR MBA from a reputed institute. Minimum 5 years of proven sales experience in B2B environment, preferably within the plastics or masterbatch compounding industry. Strong understanding of plastic additives, their functionalities, and applications. Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients. Self-motivated with a proactive approach to sales and customer service, results-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software (a plus).

Job Description We are looking for a dynamic and experienced professional to lead our Export-and Logistics Operations . The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of global trade practices, regulatory compliance, and shipping/logistics operations, with strong leadership and stakeholder management capabilities. Role & responsibilities Strategic Leadership: Lead the end-to-end Export and Import operations including logistics, shipping, and documentation teams. Shipping & Logistics: Manage international shipments and coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and transport agencies to ensure timely deliveries. Export/Import Documentation: Ensure accurate and timely preparation of documents such as invoices, packing lists, LC documents, Bill of Lading, COO, etc. Compliance & Regulations: Ensure adherence to DGFT, Customs, RBI, FEMA, ECGC, and other statutory requirements. Vendor Management: Liaise with CHAs, customs brokers, freight forwarders, government authorities, and other external stakeholders. Cost Optimization: Identify cost-saving opportunities in logistics and documentation processes without compromising service quality or compliance. Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of documentation and logistics professionals. Encourage a culture of process discipline and continuous improvement. Reporting & MIS: Maintain and share regular reports on shipment status, delays, cost analysis, and compliance metrics with senior management. Preferred candidate profile Minimum 10-15 years of hands-on experience in Export operations, with at least 5 years in a managerial/leadership role . Strong background in international shipping, logistics, and trade compliance . Experience in dealing with DGFT, Customs, CHA, RBI, FEMA, ECGC, and other statutory bodies . Well-versed in INCOTERMS, foreign trade policies, LC documentation , and customs clearance procedures . Exposure to manufacturing/export-oriented industries like Masterbatches, Chemicals, Plastics, or Textiles preferred. Proficiency in ERP systems , MS Office, and export-import documentation software. Excellent negotiation, communication, team management , and problem-solving skills . Ability to handle high-pressure situations and meet strict deadlines. Should be open to travel , if required, for customs, CHA coordination, or port visits.
