Territory Sales Officer – Surgical Sales
Job Title: Territory Sales Officer – Surgical Sales Department: Sales & Marketing Location: Mumbai, Maharashtra Experience Required: 3+ years as Territory Sales Officer, 5+ years overall experience in sales/healthcare sector Job Summary: We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Territory Sales Officer to drive the promotion and sales of our surgical product portfolio across an assigned geographical territory. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in medical/surgical sales and strong relationships within the healthcare sector, especially with surgeons, OT staff, hospital administrators, and procurement teams. Key Responsibilities: · Promote and sell surgical instruments, consumables, and related medical devices to hospitals, clinics, and surgical centers · Achieve or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets · Identify and pursue new business opportunities to increase market share · Build and maintain strong relationships with surgeons, OT staff, biomedical engineers, and procurement teams · Conduct product demonstrations, in-service training, and follow-up visits · Monitor competitor activity, pricing trends, and market developments · Provide timely market feedback to the marketing and product teams · Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer feedback, and inventory usage · Submit weekly and monthly reports to the Area Sales Manager · Ensure adherence to company policies, regulatory guidelines, and ethical standards · Comply with all safety and quality protocols during product handling and demonstrations Candidate Requirements: · Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Nursing, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field. · 3+ years of proven experience as a Territory Sales Officer, with a focus on surgical or medical device sales. · Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. · Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned region. · Knowledge of hospital operations, procurement procedures, and OT settings is advantageous. Preferred Skills: · Pre-established network in hospital surgical departments and operating rooms. · Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). · Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven approach with a strong sense of accountability.
