Job Title: Junior Algorithm Engineer Wearables R&D Experience: 02 Years Location: Hyderabad Job Description: We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Junior Algorithm Engineer to join our Wearables R&D team . This is an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of embedded systems, health analytics , and machine learning . The role is ideal for fresh graduates or early-career professionals looking to contribute to the next generation of smart wearable devices . Key Responsibilities: Assist in the development of algorithms for activity detection , health metrics , and fitness tracking using IMU, PPG, and other wearable sensors. Support sensor fusion for motion tracking using accelerometer , gyroscope , and magnetometer data. Contribute to the implementation of machine learning models optimized for edge computing . Participate in building low-power algorithms for activities like walking, running, cycling, yoga, HIIT , and sleep stage detection . Work on logic for calculating calories burned , stress levels , VO Max , EPOC , training load , respiration rate , and irregular heart rate detection . Assist in validation, testing, and optimization of algorithms for performance, power efficiency, and accuracy. Collaborate with firmware, hardware, and QA teams for seamless integration and product delivery. Required Skills: Strong foundation in signal processing , sensor data analysis , or machine learning . Familiarity with Python , C/C++ , and tools like MATLAB , NumPy , or TensorFlow Lite is a plus. Good understanding of physiological data and wearable health metrics is preferred. Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative attitude.
