Role & responsibilities: 1. Strategic Leadership Define and execute the overall marketing strategy in line with business objectives Identify growth opportunities across therapeutic areas and geographies. Lead competitive analysis, market mapping, and strategic planning initiatives. 2. Brand Management & Product Marketing Oversee lifecycle management for all key brands and new launches. Guide brand positioning, messaging, promotional planning, and differentiation strategies. Ensure alignment of sales and marketing efforts to maximize brand performance. 3. Team Leadership Build and mentor a high-performing marketing team including product managers, digital marketers, and medical communication leads. Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous learning. 4. Sales Collaboration Collaborate closely with the sales leadership to ensure field execution of marketing plans. Provide training, campaign materials, and analytics to support field effectiveness. 5. P&L and Budget Ownership Manage marketing budgets efficiently with ROI-focused allocations. Monitor brand-wise performance, forecast accuracy, and profitability. Preferred candidate profile Bachelors in Pharmacy, Science, or related field; MBA in Marketing or equivalent preferred but not manadatory. Proven success in leading marketing functions for pharma brands (ethical marketing, specialty or mass). Deep understanding of the Indian pharmaceutical ecosystem (regulatory, compliance, market dynamics). Strong leadership, analytical, and decision-making skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. Preferred Exposure: Extensive experience in Mass/General segment Knowledge of digital marketing tools and analytics platforms. Exposure to launching new molecules or line extensions in competitive markets.
