Role & responsibilities The incumbent will be responsible for the engineering vertical on Box Build projects involving sheet metal assemblies and will focus on ensuring timely execution and quality compliance. He / she will guide the team in drawing interpretation, process understanding, and product standards. The role holder will also be required to communicate effectively with customers and stakeholders, handling technical discussions and project updates. Key Deliverables: Lead and manage Box Build projects involving sheet metal assemblies, ensuring timely execution and quality compliance. Guide a team of engineers and technicians in drawing interpretation, process understanding, and product standards. Review DFM, project documentation, and ensure adherence to ISO 9001:2015 and relevant manufacturing standards. Identify and mitigate process risks, validate manufacturing steps, and approve technical documents like BOM, SOP, and WI. Communicate effectively with customers and stakeholders, handling technical discussions and project updates. Skills Required Experience in sheet metal design, manufacturing processes and surface treatments (Phosphating CRS Sheet Metal, Powder Coating and Alboin process in Aluminum Sheet metal ) Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and assembly layouts. NPD experience with strong knowledge in sheet metal, machining, surface finishing, and tooling. Tooling & Fixture Design Process Validation & PPAP Qualification : BE (Mech) with 15+ years of Engineering experience from Sheet metal industry
