Key Responsibilities: Plan and manage cutting schedules according to production targets and styles. Supervise and coordinate the activities of cutting supervisors, spreaders, and cutters. Ensure fabric is accurately spread and cut as per the marker plan and tech pack. Monitor marker efficiency, fabric utilization, and consumption to reduce wastage. Implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality control checks. Coordinate with the merchandising, production, and quality departments. Maintain accurate records of fabric issued, used, and waste generated. Ensure proper maintenance of cutting equipment and tools. Train and guide the cutting team to improve speed and accuracy. Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies. Required Skills & Competencies: Strong knowledge of fabric types, lay planning, marker making, and cutting techniques. Ability to read and interpret tech packs, markers, and production plans. Hands-on experience with cutting machines (manual and automatic). Leadership and team management skills. Good understanding of garment construction and pre-production processes. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. As a professional in the role, your responsibilities will include: - Following up with pre-production activities to ensure timely execution. - Reviewing the planning chart and allocating styles based on factory requirements and delivery dates.
