AIX Systems Administration

Role Overview: As an AIX Systems Administration at Fiserv, you will be responsible for the Administration of AIX/LINUX servers. Your role will involve supporting AIX OS to run various software applications, maintaining and upgrading the AIX OS, installing and testing AIX OS patches, developing procedures for AIX security and management, updating standard policies according to environment changes and audit results, developing performance improvement initiatives for the AIX system environment, identifying and resolving system issues in a timely manner, and planning and coordinating the installation, testing, and maintenance of AIX systems software and related hardware. Key Responsibilities: - Support AIX OS to run various software applications. - Maintain and upgrade the AIX OS. - Install and test AIX OS patches. - Develop procedures for AIX security and management. - Update standard policies according to environment changes and audit results. - Develop performance improvement initiatives for AIX system environment. - Identify and resolve system issues in a timely manner. - Plan and coordinate the installation, testing, and maintenance of AIX systems software and related hardware. Qualifications Required: - B.Tech/MCA qualification. - 5 to 8 years of experience in the IT Industry. - Experience in AIX Administration.
