AIX System Administrator

Role Overview: As an AIX System Administrator at Cympac, you will be responsible for installing, administering, and monitoring AIX servers. Your role will involve managing user accounts, ensuring security through OS patch updates, handling backup management, and monitoring server performance. Additionally, you will be expected to conduct periodic log reviews, documentations, and troubleshoot AIX-related issues. Key Responsibilities: - Installing and administering AIX servers - Performing security and OS patch updates - Managing OS installation and devices - Handling backup management - Managing user accounts - Monitoring servers including HACMP, resource monitoring (CPU, RAM, I/O, Disk Space), and threshold/capacity management - Conducting periodic log reviews - Documenting AIX administration and troubleshooting-related issues Qualifications Required: - 6 months to 2 years of software industry experience - AIX Certification 5.3 000-222/000-223 or 6.1 000-104 - Any graduate/Diploma/BE/MCA/MCM/MCS/MSc Apply to careers@cympac.com,
