As a Senior Mechanic at JBM Buses, your primary responsibility is to ensure the proper functioning, maintenance, and repair of JBM buses. Your expertise and adherence to safety and quality standards will help minimize vehicle downtime and maximize operational efficiency. Your key responsibilities will include performing preventive maintenance according to OEM standards, diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic faults in low-floor and electric JBM buses, attending on-road breakdowns, conducting daily/periodic inspections, maintaining accurate documentation of repairs and service logs, supervising and training junior mechanics, ensuring safety compliance, and coordinating with the Stores and Purchase team for spare parts availability. To excel in this role, you should possess strong technical proficiency in diesel engines, electric drivetrains, air suspension, CAN communication, and vehicle control systems used in JBM buses. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and software, problem-solving skills, leadership abilities, and effective communication are also essential. The ideal candidate will have an ITI/Diploma in Automobile/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, along with a minimum of 5-7 years of relevant hands-on experience, including at least 2 years working specifically on JBM buses or similar OEM low-floor/electric buses. Additional certification from JBM or similar OEM training is preferred. You should be willing to work in rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays as per operational needs. Physical stamina to work in field and workshop environments, even under adverse weather conditions, is necessary for this role. About the Team: We are seeking a highly skilled Multi Body Simulation Engineer (MBD) with experience in using Simpack to work on powertrain, Suspension and Simulation. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing simulation models to support the design and development of powertrain/driveline systems. What you can look forward to as Simulation Engineer (m/f/d): Develop and execute simulation models for Air Suspension Systems, powertrain systems and Steering Systems using Simpack software. Analyze simulation results and provide recommendations for design improvements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure simulation models are aligned with project goals. Develop and maintain simulation models for various Air Suspension, powertrain components, including transmissions, and drivelines. Conduct sensitivity analyses to evaluate the impact of design changes on system performance. Develop and maintain simulation tools and processes to improve efficiency and accuracy. Provide technical support to other engineers and stakeholders on simulation-related issues. Your Profile as Simulation Engineer (m/f/d): Masters degree in mechanical engineering. Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in Multi Body Simulation using Simpack software. Experience in Powertrain/driveline, Suspension systems and Streeting systems simulation is required. Strong Analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Experience with MATLAB or Python is a plus. Knowledge of vehicle dynamics and control systems is a plus.
