Billing & Invoicing: Generate and process invoices for air import and export shipments using the company's ERP or freight management systems. Ensure accuracy in billing by cross-verifying shipment details, rates, and applicable charges. Handle billing adjustments, credit notes, and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner. Documentation & Compliance: Prepare and manage essential shipping documents, including Air Waybills (AWB), commercial invoices, and packing lists. Ensure all documentation complies with international trade regulations and Incoterms. Coordinate with customs brokers and ensure timely submission of required documents for clearance. Coordination & Communication: Liaise with internal departments such as Operations, Finance, and Customer Service to gather necessary information for billing. Communicate with clients and vendors to address billing inquiries and provide necessary support. Maintain strong relationships with airlines, freight forwarders, and other logistics partners. Reporting & Analysis: Maintain accurate records of all billing transactions and documentation. Generate periodic reports on billing activities, outstanding payments, and other relevant metrics. Assist in audits and provide necessary documentation and explanations as required.
