You will be part of our expanding Technology team at ShyftLabs, where we are seeking an AI Engineer to develop and implement AI-powered applications at scale. As a pragmatic problem solver with strong backend engineering skills, you will apply AI concepts and frameworks to design, develop, and optimize solutions that address complex business challenges for our clients. Your responsibilities will include researching, designing, and developing AI-powered applications, integrating AI models into scalable production environments, collaborating with cross-functional teams, optimizing AI implementations for performance and cost efficiency, ensuring AI systems meet quality standards, and staying updated with the latest AI tools and frameworks for proposing innovative solutions. Documenting technical processes and implementations will also be crucial for knowledge sharing within the team. To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, AI, or a related field, with a strong software engineering background and at least 3 years of experience building applications at scale. You must have proven experience in implementing and deploying AI solutions in production environments, proficiency in programming languages like Python, JavaScript, or Java, familiarity with modern AI frameworks and tools, understanding of software design patterns, API development, and system architecture, knowledge of containerization technologies and cloud platforms for AI development, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
