As a Senior Engineering Manager for SaaS Marketplace and Developer Platform at our cloud-native observability platform with AIOps capabilities, you will be at the forefront of our new e-commerce initiatives. Your primary responsibility will be to establish and expand a marketplace that is initially centered around internal product SKUs and will later include third-party integrations. You will have the opportunity to oversee a small engineering team, providing guidance and support through recruitment and mentoring processes. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in defining the technical architecture and ensuring the commercial success of our marketplace offering within a contemporary cloud setting. Your key responsibilities will include developing a scalable online storefront where applications on the SolarWinds Observability SaaS platform can be easily accessed, purchased, and managed. You will also be tasked with creating APIs, SDKs, and frameworks to streamline application integration, maintenance, and growth within the marketplace. Furthermore, your role will involve integrating existing SolarWinds Observability SaaS applications into the marketplace to enhance their visibility and adoption among users. As a leader in this domain, you will guide and nurture a team of 4-5 engineers, with the flexibility to expand the team as the marketplace evolves. It will be your responsibility to define and implement the technical roadmap, ensuring a harmonious balance between strategic business goals and engineering execution. You will also be instrumental in developing frameworks that guarantee third-party compliance, audit readiness, and regulatory adherence for external products sold through the marketplace. Leveraging AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, Terraform, and microservices, you will construct a resilient and scalable infrastructure for the marketplace within a cloud-native architecture. To excel in this role, you must possess a minimum of 8 years of software development experience with a strong foundation in distributed systems and cloud-native architectures. Proficiency in backend languages such as Kotlin or Go, alongside experience in building and maintaining developer-focused APIs, SDKs, and integrations, is essential. A comprehensive understanding of AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, microservices, CI/CD, and Terraform is imperative. Your ability to recruit, mentor, and lead engineers in a high-performance environment, coupled with a familiarity with audit, regulatory, and compliance frameworks for third-party integrations, will be critical to your success. Preferred qualifications include a background in monitoring, observability, or AIOps platforms, experience in constructing marketplace ecosystems, third-party integrations, or API-based developer platforms, as well as proficiency in containerization (Kubernetes), CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure automation. If you are enthusiastic about constructing scalable platforms, leading skilled engineering teams, and shaping the future of cloud-native observability through e-commerce integration, we invite you to apply for this impactful position that bridges technology and business.,
