As a QA + SDET Lead, you will be responsible for owning and driving quality across various products such as GUI applications, APIs, and AI-powered agent platforms. Your role will involve leading end-to-end QA processes, establishing scalable automation frameworks, and mentoring a team of SDETs and QA engineers. You will play a crucial role in shaping the test strategy, tools, and quality culture within the engineering organization. You will lead and manage the complete QA lifecycle, from requirements analysis to test planning, automation, execution, and maintenance. Designing, building, and maintaining robust test automation frameworks using Playwright with Python/JavaScript will be a key aspect of your role. Additionally, you will define and implement test strategies and quality best practices for complex systems, collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, integrate AI tools into the QA process, and drive shift-left testing and CI/CD-friendly automation practices. To excel in this role, you should have at least 6 years of experience in software testing and test automation, along with proven expertise in building test automation frameworks for complex systems. Hands-on experience with Playwright or similar modern test frameworks, proficiency in Python and JavaScript, and a strong background in developing and executing test strategies are essential. Furthermore, a deep understanding of QA methodologies, Agile development, CI/CD pipelines, and experience in testing intelligent systems are required. Experience with tools such as Jira for defect tracking, Git for version control, and CI/CD tools like Jenkins and GitHub Actions is necessary. Familiarity with using AI-enhanced tools in automation and exposure to performance testing tools like K6 or JMeter are considered advantageous. You should also be familiar with containerized environments such as Docker and Kubernetes, as well as observability tools for post-release validation.
