AI/ML Senior Manager

The Opportunity
We are seeking a strategic and experienced Senior Manager to lead our AI/ML initiatives. In this role, you will oversee the development and deployment of AI and machine learning solutions, driving innovation and aligning technical projects with business objectives. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of AI-driven features within our insurance software platform and make a significant impact on the industry.
What You Will Do
- Lead and manage cross-functional teams to deliver AI/ML projects that enhance product capabilities and customer experience.
- Define and execute the AI/ML roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals and technological advancements.
- Collaborate with product management, data science, and engineering teams to identify opportunities for AI/ML integration.
- Oversee the design, development, and deployment of scalable AI/ML solutions.
- Establish best practices, standards, and governance for AI/ML development and deployment within the organization.
- Monitor industry trends and emerging AI/ML technologies to guide innovation strategies.
- Build and mentor a high-performing team of data scientists, ML engineers, and developers.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate project progress effectively.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or related fields; MBA or equivalent preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in AI/ML development, with 3+ years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Proven success in delivering AI/ML solutions in enterprise environments, ideally within insurance or SaaS industries.
- Strong knowledge of AI/ML frameworks, cloud platforms, and data analytics tools.
- Excellent leadership, strategic thinking, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with Guidewire products or insurance domain expertise.
- Relevant certifications in AI/ML, cloud platforms, or project management.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
