AI/ML Engineer - Search

You have an exciting opportunity to work as an AI/ML Engineer for a US-based, venture-funded company that specializes in transforming eCommerce visuals with AI-powered bulk photo editing. They are currently looking for someone to join their team remotely in Pune on a full-time basis. As an AI/ML Engineer at this company, you will be responsible for: - Building and extending backend services that power AI-driven media search and metadata enrichment - Developing, integrating, and deploying AI/ML inference pipelines - Fine-tuning and optimizing computer vision and generative models - Working with large datasets for preprocessing, augmenting, and structuring for training and inference - Contributing to building pipelines for various tasks such as background removal, inpainting/outpainting, banner generation, logo/face detection, and multimodal embeddings - Integrating with vector databases for similarity and semantic search - Collaborating with the engineering team to deploy scalable AI inference endpoints Skills & Experience Expected (2-3 Years): - Core Python skills with solid programming and debugging experience in production systems - Hands-on experience with AI/ML Libraries such as PyTorch and/or TensorFlow, NumPy, OpenCV, Hugging Face Transformers - Experience in model training/fine-tuning for vision, audio, or multimodal tasks - Proficiency in data handling, preprocessing, and augmenting image/video datasets - Familiarity with vector search tools like FAISS, Pinecone, or similar for embeddings-based search - Comfortable with chaining or orchestrating multimodal inference workflows Bonus Points if you: - Have worked with generative models like diffusion, inpainting, or outpainting - Understand large-scale media workflows including video, design files, and time-coded metadata - Enjoy experimenting with new models and pushing them into production - Care about making AI useful in real-world creative pipelines To apply for this opportunity, follow these steps: Step 1: Click On Apply!
