You are a Technical AI Product Manager responsible for leading the development of AI and GenAI products focusing on Manufacturing and Quality. Your main role involves collaborating with product, ML, and engineering teams to create scalable AI systems that enhance operational efficiency, compliance, and product quality. To excel in this position, you must possess a high level of technical proficiency, structured product thinking, and the ability to take ownership of end-to-end execution. Your responsibilities will include owning the product lifecycle from problem identification to deployment and continuous iteration. Additionally, you will be required to collaborate with data science and engineering teams to define clear specifications for ML and GenAI solutions. You will lead the development of RAG pipelines, orchestration, fine-tuning, and evaluation workflows while considering factors such as model performance, latency, cost, scalability, and compliance. Furthermore, you will design API-first, modular, and secure product architectures, monitor product KPIs, and drive iterative improvements. It is essential to prioritize use cases that are both exploratory and scalable while staying abreast of the latest AI/LLM technologies and incorporating them into product capabilities effectively. In terms of required skills, you should demonstrate strong ownership and the ability to structure complex technical problems effectively. You must be well-versed in various domains such as batch record review automation, GenAI for SOP interpretation, deviation summarization, predictive maintenance, and QA document generation. Experience in collaborating with plant operations, QA, and regulatory teams to define AI use cases with measurable impacts is crucial for this role. From a technical standpoint, you should have a minimum of 8 years of experience in AI & Analytics within manufacturing and quality functions. Proficiency in LLMs, embeddings, vector stores, and RAG architectures is necessary. Hands-on experience with tools such as LangChain, Pinecone, OpenAI, Azure AI, Vertex AI, or similar platforms is expected. Additionally, you should be comfortable evaluating model metrics like top-k accuracy, latency, precision, and recall, as well as reviewing code, writing specifications, and using tools like Git, Postman, and Jupyter.
