As an intern at Akaike Technologies, you will be engaged in a variety of exciting tasks related to working with Large Language Models (LLMs) such as GPT, LLaMA, or Mistral to develop real-world applications. Your responsibilities will include developing effective prompts to enhance AI-generated outputs, implementing Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) for improved knowledge retrieval, and applying classic ML techniques (classification, regression, clustering) using tools like scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch. You will also be involved in working with Hugging Face Transformers for pre-trained model adaptation, developing RESTful APIs to seamlessly integrate AI models into applications, and collaborating with APIs from OpenAI, Cohere, Hugging Face, Google AI for model interactions. Additionally, you will implement frameworks like LangChain for LLM-driven applications, deploy AI apps using backend frameworks like Flask, FastAPI, and utilize lightweight frontend technologies such as Streamlit, Gradio, etc. Your role will also include tasks such as collecting and preprocessing both structured and unstructured data for ML training, applying NLP techniques like tokenization, named entity recognition, and text summarization, alongside having a good understanding of SQL querying and PySpark. You will deploy models using Docker and cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, Azure, ensuring clear documentation of workflows, experiments, and findings, and sharing insights with the team on emerging AI techniques and tools.
