AI Video Editor

As a highly creative and talented AI Video Editor at TrueFan, you will play a crucial role in producing visually compelling motion graphics and editing high-quality videos for our platform. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that the videos resonate with our audience and contribute effectively to our branding efforts. You will be leveraging a combination of traditional editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro and Final Cut Pro, along with next-generation AI video tools like Runway, Pika, Sora, and Descript to create engaging and high-quality video content across various platforms. Your key responsibilities will include editing video content using AI-powered tools, generating visual effects, motion graphics, and transitions using AI or prompt-based workflows, collaborating with writers, marketers, and other creators to visually bring stories to life, optimizing videos for multiple platforms, and utilizing AI tools for script-to-video automation, voiceovers, object removal, scene generation, and upscaling. Additionally, you will be expected to maintain organized file systems and version control, stay updated with trends in AI video technology, and propose new tools and approaches. The qualifications required for this role include proven experience in video editing with a portfolio showcasing your work, proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or similar software, a strong sense of timing, pacing, and visual storytelling, and the ability to work independently under tight deadlines. Preferred qualifications include experience with AI-generated video or image models, a background in motion design, VFX, or animation, and an understanding of social media content formats and best practices. Bonus skills that would be beneficial for this role include prompt engineering for AI video tools and experience in audio editing and sound design.
