AI Faculty

The Faculty/Professor for AI/ML position in Guwahati requires a candidate with at least 3 years of experience in data science. In this role, you will be responsible for guiding and mentoring students to excel in the data science and AI/ML industries. Your primary tasks will include designing and delivering a curriculum that focuses on practical knowledge in machine learning, deep learning, statistical analysis, and AI-MLOps. Additionally, you will be expected to provide personalized mentorship to students, prepare them for real-world challenges, and assist in portfolio building. It is crucial to stay updated with the latest trends in AI/ML and ensure that the curriculum remains relevant to industry standards. Key Responsibilities: - Curriculum Development: Design and implement a hands-on curriculum covering machine learning, AI-MLOps, deep learning, and data processing. - Student Mentorship: Offer personalized guidance, prepare students for real-world scenarios, and aid in portfolio creation. - Teaching: Conduct engaging lectures, workshops, and coding sessions while simplifying complex concepts to cater to different learning levels. - Assessment & Feedback: Create assessments to gauge student progress and provide constructive feedback for improvement. The ideal candidate should possess: - Technical Expertise: 3+ years of practical experience in data science, encompassing machine learning, deep learning, statistical modeling, and AI model deployment. Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, TensorFlow, Scikit-learn, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is required. - Teaching Experience: Proven ability to train or mentor students in data science with excellent communication and teaching skills. Experience in fostering an inclusive, collaborative, and engaging classroom environment is essential. - Passion for Education: A strong commitment to empowering the next generation of AI/ML professionals is highly valued. This is a contractual/temporary position with a minimum term of 6 months. The work schedule is during the day, and the preferred educational qualification is a Master's degree. Candidates with 2 years of teaching experience and proficiency in making lesson plans are preferred. Proficiency in English is also preferred, and the work location is in person.,
