The L3 Support Engineer for Nutanix is responsible for resolving complex and high-priority technical issues that have been escalated from the L1 and L2 teams. You must have extensive knowledge of Nutanix solutions and lead troubleshooting efforts for critical customer issues, ensuring quick and effective problem resolution. You will often collaborate with product development and R&D teams to identify and address the root causes of bugs or system design issues. Serving as a liaison between the support team and the customer during complex problem resolution is part of your role. You are a skilled Nutanix Engineer with 2-5 years of experience in managing and maintaining Nutanix environments. Your expertise lies in Nutanix Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (HCI), virtualization, and cloud solutions. Your role involves working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless deployment, management, and troubleshooting of Nutanix platforms. Your key responsibilities include: Nutanix Administration & Maintenance: - Manage and monitor Nutanix clusters to ensure optimal performance and uptime. - Perform routine system maintenance, updates, and patches on Nutanix clusters (AHV/ESXi/Hyper-V). - Resolve infrastructure issues promptly to minimize downtime. Required Skills & Experience: 7+ years of experience in systems engineering, compute infrastructure, or datacenter operations. Strong expertise in Nutanix (AHV/Prism) and Rubrik. Nutanix Infrastructure Specialist role focused on designing and deploying hyper-converged infrastructure (HCI) using Nutanix technologies, primarily: AHV (Acropolis Hypervisor) Nutanix's native virtualization platform (similar to VMware ESXi). Prism – Nutanix's management interface for monitoring, managing, and automating clusters and workloads. Key Skills: Design, build, and configure Nutanix infrastructure (preferably AHV and Prism): Ability to plan and implement Nutanix clusters using AHV. Set up and manage virtual machines and storage.
