Responsibilities: To coordinate with the concern Engineer, BMS operator, Manager for smooth operation of chiller house. o To coordinate with concerned engineer, manager for operation of chillers for power savings. o Start auxiliary equipment of chiller & then start chiller. o To check header pressure of secondary pump & inform BMS Operator for any abnormalities. o To check all chillers every hour for smooth operation. o To coordinate with Chemical dosing person for blow down Cooling tower cell & back wash of sand filter. o Take readings of running chiller & auxiliary equipment every hour. o To check chiller reading sheet for abnormalities & give feedback to concern engineer. o To carry out leak test of chiller. o To maintain cleanliness of chillers, its auxiliaries, chiller house. o To check & take action on reports received for abnormalities. o To check equipment of chiller house daily for any vibration, noise. o To check oil level, oil temperature of every chiller. o To check leakages of water if any through flange joints, pumps & if observed then inform to concern engineer. o To clean water line strainer with help of maintenance team. o To operate chiller so as to avoid breakdown of chiller o To check every work carried out in chiller house with proper work permit. o To cleaning of wire mesh inserted at chilled & cooling water line. o To check electrical connections of chiller. o To check cooling tower fan & if any abnormality then inform to concern engineer. o To check cooling tower cell for any water seepage, if observed then inform to concern engineer. o To help maintenance people for carrying out preventive maintenance work of Pumps, Cooling Tower fan. o To Coordinate with BMS team for temperature of Server halls. o Follow instructions from Manager, Engineer for operation of chiller. o To inform to Engineer & Manager for any urgent maintenance work. o Any other job as told by Engineer In-charge

Implementing all proactive measures as per plan. Ensure the serviceability of all mechanical equipment at site through proactive and reactive maintenance. Creation of PPM schedules for the team. Efficient utilization of Maximo at site. When required, back up as a shift engineer and be the second in command of the site. Supervising the procurement activity at site. Supervising AMC vendors including requirements for safety. Execute all work orders with prior intimation of respective trade persons. Ensuring all safety guidelines are adhered to. Briefing the supervisors and technicians for the activities to be carried out. To take regular facility rounds and note down the abnormalities for immediate corrective action. To ensure adequate inventory, maintenance, and efficient management of stores Update the safety register for incidents/near misses occurring in the shift.
