Job Description We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Site Head AHP (Ash Handling Plant) (O&M) to oversee the operations and maintenance of the Ash Handling System at our Thermal Power Plant in Vijayawada. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in managing Ash Handling Plant operations, ensuring optimal performance, safety, and compliance with operational standards. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the daily operations and maintenance of the Ash Handling Plant (AHP) to ensure maximum efficiency and reliability. Develop and implement operational strategies, maintenance schedules, and safety protocols. Monitor plant performance, identify areas for improvement, and initiate corrective actions. Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and safety standards. Coordinate with cross-functional teams, contractors, and vendors for smooth plant operations. Manage and mentor the operational team, fostering a culture of safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement. Prepare and review operational reports, budgets, and maintenance records. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to AHP equipment and systems. Ensure timely execution of maintenance activities with minimal plant downtime. Qualifications & Experience Minimum 15 years of proven experience in Operation & Maintenance of Ash Handling Systems in a Thermal Power Plant. Strong technical knowledge of AHP equipment, systems, and associated auxiliaries. Proven leadership and team management skills. Ability to analyze operational data and implement improvements. Familiarity with safety and environmental compliance standards. Experience in managing plant performance and optimizing operational costs. Desired Skills Excellent communication skills, fluency in Telugu is essential. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities. Good interpersonal and leadership skills. Candidate Profile Local candidates residing in Andhra Pradesh, preferably near Vijayawada. Fluency in Telugu and English.
