Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Incharge Mechanical to oversee and manage the Ash Handling Plant (AHP) operations and maintenance at our Thermal Power Plant. The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of hands-on experience in AHP systems, with a proven track record in team leadership, troubleshooting, and ensuring optimal plant availability and performance. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the day-to-day operations and maintenance of the Ash Handling Plant (AHP). Ensure continuous availability and reliability of mechanical systems involved in AHP including pneumatic and hydraulic conveying systems, slurry pumps, pipelines, ESP hoppers, etc. Supervise a team of mechanical engineers, technicians, and support staff; assign tasks and monitor performance. Implement preventive and corrective maintenance schedules; ensure adherence to maintenance best practices. Coordinate with operations, electrical, instrumentation, and other cross-functional teams for smooth plant functioning. Troubleshoot mechanical failures and breakdowns, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions. Maintain records of maintenance logs, spares inventory, and equipment history. Ensure compliance with safety standards and statutory regulations. Monitor and control maintenance costs; optimize spare parts and consumables usage. Ensure proper training and skill development of the O&M team. Prepare regular reports on plant performance, downtime, maintenance activities, and improvements. Desired Profile: Bachelors Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in AHP operations & maintenance in thermal power plants. In-depth knowledge of AHP systems in a thermal power plant environment. Strong understanding of mechanical maintenance practices and equipment. Proven ability to lead, manage, and motivate cross-functional teams. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective coordination and reporting. Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities. Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement. Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) is preferred. Note: Ideal candidate should have good experience in Thermal Power Plant (Speaking in Telugu is must)
