Sourcing and Talent Acquisition:Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies to attract qualified candidates for various roles within the organization.Utilize various recruitment channels, including online job portals, social media, local employment agencies, and referrals.Proactively source candidates through networking, job fairs, and community events.Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future openings.Focus on sourcing large numbers of skilled workers such as tailors, checkers, and helpers.Screening and Selection:Review resumes and applications to assess candidates' qualifications and experience.Conduct initial phone screenings and in-person interviews to evaluate candidates' suitability for the role.Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers.Administer relevant skills assessments and aptitude tests as needed.Verify candidate references and background information.Recruitment Process Management:Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, ensuring a positive candidate experience.Prepare and extend job offers to selected candidates.Coordinate onboarding activities for new hires.Maintain regular communication with hiring managers and provide updates on recruitment progress.Market Research and Analysis:Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in recruitment.Conduct market research to understand the local labor market and identify potential talent pools.Analyze recruitment metrics and provide reports to management.Understand the local Tirupur labour market, and the specific needs of apparel manufacturing recruitment.Relationship Building:Build strong relationships with local training institutes, and placement cells.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).Proven experience as a Recruiter, preferably in the apparel manufacturing industry or a related field.Strong understanding of the Tirupur labor market and local recruitment practices.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Proficiency in using online job portals, social media.Strong organizational and time-management skills.Ability to communicate in Tamil and English effectively. Spoken Hindi is added advantage.Preferred Skills:Experience in bulk hiring for manufacturing roles.Familiarity with HR best practices.
