Role & responsibilities Reports To: Managing Director Role Summary We are seeking an accomplished General Manager to lead the overall operations of our Knit garment export manufacturing division. The role involves end-to-end oversight of production, quality, Ethical and Social compliance, and financial performance. The ideal candidate will ensure operational efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and adherence to global standards. Key Responsibilities, • Lead daily factory operations, production planning, and timely order execution. • Ensure strict adherence to quality standards and compliance protocols (SEDEX, BSCI, WRAP, etc.). • Drive cost control, budgeting, and P&L performance. • Provide leadership to cross-functional teams and strengthen organizational capability. • Implement strategic initiatives to improve productivity, efficiency, and business growth through lean manufacturing processes. Qualifications • Bachelors/Master’s degree in Textile Engineering, Apparel Production, or Business Management. • 15 to 20+ years of relevant industry experience with strong exposure to garment exports, with minimum 10+ years in leadership role. • Proven ability to manage large production units and lead diverse teams. • Strong communication, analytical, and decision-making skills.
