Designation- Manager-Agricultural Extension Job Description - Field Operations Assist for Planning organic farming projects with budgets and expenses for the production of residue free traceable crop commodities. Identify Land for establishing Demo Farms across our Project locations. Prepare a Demo Field plan for each of the locations and an execution plan. Spearhead the execution of the plan. Impart training to the employees and to the farmers, on a regular basis. Assist in developing crop and location specific package of practices for different crops. Assist in Integrated Farming Framework for Demo Farm. Responsible for Agricultural Extension work. Assist in Creation of Farmers Helpline. Provide technical support to Project teams as and when required. Assist Develop & maintain internal quality system at project level. Conduct farmer meetings for the knowhow of farmer problems and find out solutions. Assist in Agricultural R&D activities related to Breeding, Seed production, Input Selection for better results, Application methods, Soil Analysis, Nutrient Management for different costs, Pest Management, Disease Management, Weed Controlling (Comprehensive crop Health Management adopting GAP / Organic farming practices). Desired Profile Strong technical base in Agricultural Science and its field application. Experience in Organic Cultivation Problem Solving Approach. Should be willing to travel extensively to the Farms in different states. Experience 8-10 Years Functional Area Agriculture, Agricultural Operations, Agricultural R&D Education- B.Sc., (Agri)/ Msc Location- Gujarat Main Role: Assist in planning and implementation of project area specific activities. Responsible for implementation and monitoring the activities / programmes in the filed Responsible for data compilation, analysis, and reporting. Qualification: B.Sc., Agriculture/ Msc (Specialization is coming at the Post Graduate level, and it is not required for this position. Graduation level with strong basic knowledge and application skillset is the requirement).
