The Platform Product Subject Matter Expert at Maersk is responsible for owning and managing the Global TAX technology platform in collaboration with the Global Indirect TAX business team and internal TAX engineers. Your role involves designing, developing, and maintaining a scalable TAX technology platform that aligns with business requirements and supports the Maersk Integrator journey. You will lead the implementation of the TAX technology platform roadmap and cultivate strong relationships with stakeholders across Global TAX and other finance areas. Your responsibilities will include owning the Indirect TAX technology platform, roadmap, and backlog, understanding business and end-users needs to translate them into technical requirements, selecting optimal solutions and resolving platform design challenges with engineers, managing Indirect TAX data migration and validation, developing test scenarios and cases, supporting end-users during testing, resolving test issues, driving business cut-over activities, and providing support for hyper care issue resolution. As the ideal candidate, you should possess a personal drive, take ownership, and work independently. You must have a comprehensive understanding of Indirect TAX and Accounts Receivable processes, along with technical proficiency in SAP (ECC/S4). Experience in software delivery organizations or leading software implementation projects is preferred to grasp the software delivery cycle. You should be adept at applying agile analysis techniques, transforming business requirements into technical specifications, and preparing and executing test cases.
