Job description Responsible for engineering design and modification activities related to electrical & electronic circuits, systems, and equipment. May involve the installation and operation & maintenance of electrical systems and equipment. Discipline concerning power systems, electronic and transmission equipment, electric service and supply systems, lighting systems, communication service and supply systems, fire alarm and detection systems, control systems or electrical installations. An electrical engineer focuses on designing, maintaining and improving products that are powered by or produce electricity. Electrical engineering deals with electricity, electro-magnetism and electronics. It also covers power, control systems, telecommunications and signal processing. These engineers are usually concerned with large-scale electrical systems such as motor control and power transmission, as well as utilizing electricity to transmit energy. Duties and Responsibilities Senior technical resource may serve as technical advisor for team Provides specialized technical input to studies and design for staff's specific area of expertise. Develops study and design procedures to facilitate high quality cost effective work by others. Participates in interdisciplinary review of project deliverables. Develops construction cost estimates and estimates of technical efforts for projects. Uses expertise in all steps of completing discipline component of PS&E package. Performs quality control review of design calculations or drawings. Prepares technical specification sections. Provides input to the development of engineering budget and schedule to meet requirements. Qualifications Master of Engineering degree (or equivalent education) in an appropriate engineering discipline from an accredited college or university. Chartered Engineer (CEng), or Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent in the relevant field from any global organization (e.g., Institution of Civil Engineers, UK). 10-15 Years (Exposure to outside India projects preferably UK, USA, Canada & ANZ region ) Preparation, Review and production of Electrical (EHV, HV, MV, LV), Street Lighting, Telecom, ELV, ICT Network, Pump station, Water Treatment Plant, EV charging Station, Substation, Power Transmission & Distribution network Design Calculation: Street lighting, High Mast Area Lighting, Cable sizing & Voltage drop, Earthing, Fault level, Corridor sizing Software: Dialux, AGI, Lighting Reality, Amtech, ETAP Should have experience in leading technical design team of engineers and designers for urban infrastructure projects (preferably for Middle East region). Should have knowledge of Middle East Codes and Standards. Familiarity with the design approval process is preferable. As an Asterisk Developer based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat with 3+ years of experience, your main responsibility will be to develop and manage Asterisk-based systems. This will involve writing AGI scripts, configuring dial plans, and working with AMI. You will also be expected to troubleshoot VoIP/SIP issues and work on Linux and scripting languages such as PHP/Perl.
