As an Enterprise IT Architect at BMC, you will lead the charge in transforming our IT organization into an Agentic AI-driven powerhouse. Your responsibilities will include designing modern, scalable IT platforms that leverage AI capabilities to optimize operations, automate processes, and showcase innovation at scale. You will collaborate across various domains such as infrastructure, applications, data, security, and operations to embed agentic capabilities into the core of enterprise IT. In this role, you will contribute to BMC's success by: - Architecting AI-native IT Systems that integrate autonomous AI agents across various IT functions - Enabling Agentic AI Use Cases by translating IT objectives into practical applications across different areas - Driving Platform Modernization efforts to transition legacy IT platforms into cloud-native, API-first, and AI-ready systems - Championing Automation & Observability through the implementation of intelligent automation and real-time monitoring capabilities - Collaborating Cross-functionally with engineering, security, and product teams to ensure seamless integration of AI agents - Evaluating and Adopting Technologies that align with enterprise goals and enhance AI transformation in IT - Ensuring Security and Governance standards are met by AI-driven architectures to mitigate risks and ensure compliance To excel in this role, you should possess: - 10+ years of experience in enterprise IT architecture, with a minimum of 3 years in AI technologies - Proven expertise in architecting solutions involving AI agents and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP - Deep understanding of AI orchestration frameworks, LLMs, agent stacks, and observability tools - Experience in designing IT solutions with a focus on resilience, security, and scalability - Strong knowledge of ITIL, SRE principles, DevOps practices, and enterprise systems - A passion for innovation, continuous improvement, and being a customer-centric advocate for AI-driven IT Preferred skills include familiarity with agent simulation environments, generative AI, vector databases, and cloud-native ML pipelines. A strategic mindset that balances innovation with risk, cost, and governance is highly valued in this role.
