The Mentor is responsible for implementing the curriculum, taking care of the children and conducting activities for the children. Mentor has to play the role of a warm and loving parent. Their attitude, skills and knowledge influence their interaction with children, colleagues and parents. Mentor has to attend to all the needs of children. Following are the responsibilities of a Mentor: Organize and conduct activities by implementing the curricula that allows the child to learn, grow and explore their interests. Ensure health, hygiene, cleanliness, rest time and safety of children. Communicate with parents to discuss the childs progress. Monitor and ensure safe arrival and departure of children to and from the daycare. Monitor attendance of children and bring to notice of parents and daycare head in case of any irregularity in attendance. Organize and ensure timely provision of meals for children, including special diet to identified children and follow a system of cleanliness before and after meals. Provide age-appropriate materials and resources for children to explore and use, both in learning and in imaginative play. Ensure that activity rooms are clean and organized with the help of Didi before and after use. Participate in all activities to make the learning process enjoyable for the child. Administer First-Aid and medication of children in case of medical emergency. Adopt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet varying needs of children and keep track of each childs developmental milestones. Prepare and submit periodical assessment reports of children to the management and daycare head. Organize and conduct activities during special events. Basic computer knowledge. Fluent in English and Hindi. Knowledge of basic milestones of children at each stage of growth. Excellent knowledge of at least 3 subjects taught in schools. Motherly, compassionate and patient. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Agile and able to get along with children and entertain or engage with them. Creative & positive minded with excellent supervision skills. Should have team spirit to build the daycare as the perfect place for child development. Pleasing personality with professional attitude and genuine love for children. Dedicated, hard-working and proactive. Graduate with diploma or degree in Nursery or Montessori Teachers Training. Work experience of at least 2 years in a preschool /child care centre. Female, aged 27-40 years.
