Key Responsibilities Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion. Collaborate with engineers, architects, etc. to determine the specifications of the project Obtain permits and licenses from appropriate authorities Coordination Schedule regular meetings with all contractors and suppliers to review progress, answer questions, and undertake ongoing quality control. Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations Plan all construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines will be met Review and confirm completion stages for contractor payment authorizations, Acquire equipment and material and monitor stocks to timely handle inadequacies Create a seamless project handover and close out process for clients to enjoy their finished project Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to Job status Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues Review the work progress on daily basis Construction and Coordination with FMS team regarding project maintenance tasks and also for new projects to facilitate the residents Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques Inspecting construction sites regularly to identify and eliminate potential safety hazards. Supervising and instructing the construction team as well as contractors Evaluating the performance of construction employees and instituting disciplinary measures as needed. Analyzing drawings/blueprints to ensure that construction projects meet design, safety, and budget specifications. Recommending changes to construction operations or procedures to increase efficiency.
