You have 36 years of experience and are seeking a full-time Backend Engineer role where you will take ownership of backend systems developed with Node.js. Your primary responsibilities will include developing secure and scalable REST APIs, managing services on Docker containers in EC2, integrating and securing MongoDB and SQL databases, implementing data encryption and secure communication, automating deployment pipelines, collaborating with DevOps teams, monitoring logs and performance, and debugging production issues. The core technologies you will work with include Node.js, TypeScript, Express/NestJS, MongoDB, MySQL/PostgreSQL, Redis, AWS services (ECS, EC2, S3, CloudFront), Docker, Nginx, GitLab CICD for CI/CD, and security technologies such as JWT, OAuth2, AES/RSA encryption, secret management, and TLS. Preferred experience includes a strong foundation in backend security and encryption, working with EC2-based deployments and Dockerized services, and familiarity with logging/monitoring tools like CloudWatch and ELK stack.
