Tech (Mech) Experience: 3 years Company: Aertsen Modular Pvt Ltd Location: Hyderabad Job Summary The Production Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and managing the production process within the furniture manufacturing facility. This role involves coordinating with various departments, managing schedules, ensuring quality control, and maintaining efficient production workflows to meet the company's standards and customer demands. Key Responsibilities Production Planning and Scheduling: Develop and manage production schedules to meet customer orders and deadlines. Coordinate with the production team to allocate resources, including labor, materials, and machinery. Workflow Management: Monitor the production process to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks. Identify and resolve any bottlenecks or issues that may arise during production. Quality Control: Ensure that all products meet the company’s quality standards and specifications. Implement and maintain quality control procedures and processes. Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and finished products. Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely availability of materials. Communication and Coordination: Liaise with different departments such as design, procurement, and sales to ensure cohesive operations. Communicate production status, updates, and any issues to relevant stakeholders. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of production activities, including schedules, inventory levels, and quality reports. Prepare and present production reports to management. Health and Safety: Ensure that all production activities comply with health and safety regulations. Promote a safe working environment and implement safety protocols as necessary. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for improving production processes and efficiency. Implement lean manufacturing principles and best practices to enhance productivity. Qualifications and Skills Education: Bachelor's degree in Mech Experience: Proven experience as a Production Coordinator or similar role in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the furniture industry. Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in production planning software and MS Office. Attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of quality control standards and health and safety regulations. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Working Conditions This role is typically based in a manufacturing facility with regular office hours. The position may require occasional overtime during peak production periods. The Production Coordinator may need to spend time on the production floor, which can involve exposure to machinery and noise.
