Objectives of this role Building and implementing new development tools and infrastructure Working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes Ensuring that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats Working with software developers and software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended Ensuring the infrastructure & devops processes are modernised in the project by well designed and groomed framework or architecture. Understanding the needs of clients and internal team and work towards solving those requirements. Identifying technical problems and developing software updates and fixes Required skills and qualifications. Experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar software engineering role Proficiency with at least one source code version control solution Github,Bitbucket. Proficient build and release management and experienced in one of the CI/CD tools (Devops/Jenkins, preferably Devops) including setup, templating and configuration. Managed Docker Orchestration and Docker Containerization using Kubernetes. Experienced in using different devops tools for artifactory, vaults, code scanning tools.
