Key Responsibilities: 1. Design of Gas turbine components, Product definition support and Integrated project team support 2. Provide quality and desired outputs from Design perspective on-time and within budget 3. Analyze current engineering methods used within the company and develop steps and processes to improve 4. Work alongside other engineering teams to successfully monitor progress and implementation of engineering initiatives 5. Account for possible project challenges or constraints and proactively seek to manage challenges Desired Skills: 1. Basic Knowledge and understanding of Design engineering 2. Exposure to Aeroengine components process and standards for mechanical design and product definition 3. Fair Knowledge on Materials and Manufacturing processes 4. Fair knowledge of Robust Design tools and techniques 5. Experience in performing DFMEA and PFMEA will be an added advantage 6. Hands on experience in UGNX Creation of models, assembly, and drawings 7. Exposure to Teamcenter and PDM will be an added advantage 8. Strategic thinking and pro-active 9. Strong Verbal and written communication skills, ability to prepare comprehensive reports 10. Should be a self-starter with a positive attitude and a good team player Nice to have Knowledge/ Experience of AGILE process, or project management Knowledge/ Experience of APQP Knowledge/ Experience of Aerospace design, especially Gas Turbine Knowledge/ Experience of product cost reduction Experience in using Teamcenter
