We are looking to hire a skilled WordPress developer to design and implement attractive and functional websites for our clients. You will be responsible for both back-end and front-end development including the implementation of WordPress themes and plugins as well as site integration and security updates. Responsibilities Design, implement, and manage WordPress-based websites, themes, and plugins. Customize existing themes and plugins to meet project requirements. Ensure website functionality, responsiveness, and compatibility across devices and browsers. Optimize websites for speed, performance, and SEO best practices. Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues and errors. Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless user experiences. Maintain website security by implementing best practices, updates, and backups. Integrate third-party tools, APIs, and payment gateways as required. Required skills and qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field. 2+ years of demonstrable experience as a WordPress developer. Strong understanding of WordPress architecture, themes and plugins. Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and PHP for WordPress development. Experience with responsive web design and mobile-friendly website development. Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality and visually appealing websites. Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team. Knowledge of SEO best practices for website optimisation. Preferred skills and qualifications Certification in WordPress development or web design. Experience with e-commerce platforms and WordPress e-commerce plugins. Strong knowledge of website security best practices. Familiarity with website performance optimisation. Understanding of UX/UI design principles.
