About the role We’re a report-specialist content & design company for Indian listed companies. You’ll be the creative owner who fuses brand and creativity to build award-worthy Integrated Annual Reports and Sustainability/BRSR Reports—from big idea and visual system to page design, infographics, and press-ready PDFs/web handoffs. You’ll work shoulder-to-shoulder with writers, ESG analysts, and PMO to convert KPIs and strategy into straightforward, on-brand storytelling. What you’ll do • Lead the concept: Craft the annual theme/storyboard, visual metaphor (e.g., value-creation model), and the design system (grid, typography, colour, iconography, chart styles). • Translate brand → report: Turn existing brand guidelines into long-form design guardrails (section templates, data-viz specs, callout styles, photography/illustration direction). • Own layout & art direction: Direct designers/illustrators; design hero pages, infographics, complex tables, and multi-column spreads in InDesign; maintain cross-document consistency. • Data-viz accuracy: Partner with ESG/data teams to convert KPI packs into charts/scorecards; validate numbers, axes, units, and legends; prevent design-induced data errors. • Digital & accessibility: Prepare interactive PDFs/microsite handoffs (component library in Figma); ensure WCAG-aligned text styles, alt-text guidance, contrast, and reading order. • Print production: Liaise with printers for paper/finish choices (foil/UV/emboss), colour management, impositions, proofs, dielines; run preflight checks and resolve overprint/bleed issues. • Schedule & quality: Plan R1→Rfinal cycles with PMO; maintain version control; uphold a zero-defect preflight standard; coach the team through crunch time. • Client collaboration: Present concepts to CXO/CorpCom/IR teams; absorb feedback, protect the core idea, and iterate fast without losing coherence. • Design ops: Build reusable libraries (Figma/ID snippets), icon sets, chart kits, and documentation so next year’s report is faster and tighter. What success looks like (outcomes/KPIs) • A single, recognisable visual idea that carries from cover to back-matter across 150–250 pages. • First-time-right printer preflight; <2 iterative proof cycles for color. • Zero data mismatches between sheets and charts; all accessibility checks passed. • Reusable design system that trims next year’s production time by 20–30%. • Strong client feedback (CSAT/NPS) and shortlist/wins in reporting/IR design awards. Must-have experience • 3–6 years in brand-led graphic design with long-form work (annual/integrated/sustainability reports, investor decks, magazines). • Shipped at least 2 reports for listed companies in India (IR/BRSR preferred). • Expertise in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Figma; confident with complex tables, master pages, paragraph/character styles, and anchored objects. • Portfolio showing brand coherence + information design (infographics, KPI dashboards, value-creation models). Nice-to-have (bonus) • Motion/interaction basics (After Effects/Lottie), web handoff (design tokens, specs). • Exposure to ESG/IR contexts (GRI/BRSR/IFRS S1/S2) and financial/MD&A content. • Experience with prepress/color management (ICC profiles, CMYK/RGB workflows). • Hindi/Indian language typography and bilingual layout familiarity. Skills & traits that make you great here • Systems thinker: you build grids, type scales, and chart rules that scale. • Storyteller: you can turn strategy, risks, and KPIs into visual narratives. • Accuracy-obsessed: you never let a chart lie; you love checklists. • Presenter: calm with CXO reviews; you defend ideas with data and empathy. • Builder: You create libraries/templates that upskill the whole studio. Tools you’ll use Adobe InDesign/Illustrator/Photoshop · Figma · Acrobat (preflight/accessibility order) · Google Workspace/SharePoint · (Nice: After Effects, Lottie) Reporting line & collaboration • Reports to: Project Manager • Works with: Writers, ESG Analysts, PMO, QA, Printer, Web/Motion teams Work mode & timing • Hybrid: [3 days/week in office]; seasonal intensity Jan–Aug (earnings/reporting cycles). Flex around print and board-review crunches. Compensation & growth • Competitive salary + performance bonus. Path to Creative Director as you standardize our design system and mentor a pod of designers. How to apply Email Pankaj@adwinadvisory.com with subject “Brand & Creative Lead — IR/BRSR”. Include: 1. Portfolio (PDF or link) with at least one report you led (credit your role). 2. Three KPI infographics/scorecards you designed. 3. A one-pager: “My approach to a 180-page integrated report: theme → grid → charts → accessibility → print.”
