After rebuilding Sales & Marketing, we’re now doubling down on marketing as an additional growth lever — and we need a leader who can own and scale it. The Role We’re looking for a hands-on Head of Marketing who can take full ownership of our marketing engine. You’ll drive SEO/AEO/GEO, content, email/newsletters, outbound, and paid ads while coordinating additional paid channels and partnerships. This is not a figurehead role — we want a builder who thrives on testing, iterating, and scaling what works. You’ll inherit working systems (newsletters, SEO vendors, Outbound, new content pipeline), but your job is to optimize, expand, and multiply results. Candidates must have at least 4 hours of overlapping work availability with Eastern Time (ET) during standard U.S. business hours. Responsibilities: SEO Leadership Build domain authority from 21 → 30 in 3–6 months; 40+ in 12-18 months. Manage SEO/content vendors and improve output. Ensure backlink strategy and keyword strategy align with lead gen goals. Email & Content Own prospective “Seller Intel” newsletter pipeline (currently live and scaling weekly). Own the “Adverio Advantage” active customer newsletter Shift CTAs from “book a call” to tool/lead magnet → nurture → ROI forecast Track and report performance metrics (open rate, CTR, conversion). Outbound & Paid Optimize outbound campaigns. Identify gaps in funnel (lead magnet, follow-up, CRO). Manage/coordinate any paid ad testing. Leadership & Systems Translate strategy into execution — no ideas without ownership. Work cross-functionally with Ops/Content teams to align offers and campaigns. Report results to leadership (what worked, what didn’t, and next moves). Who You Are A marketing generalist with SEO & Organic Traffic depth — you’ve ranked sites, built backlinks, and know how to grow domain authority. Confident running multi-channel marketing (SEO, outbound, email, paid). Has the knowledge & experience of using AI in marketing activities. Hands-on: willing to get into the weeds to test, build, and iterate. Comfortable with accountability: you thrive in environments where results are tracked and candour is the culture. Able to manage vendors and freelancers, ensuring every dollar and hour delivers ROI. Requirements 5+ years of marketing experience, ideally in SaaS, eCommerce, or growth advisory firms. Demonstrated track record of scaling SEO/content-driven lead gen. Experience with outbound platforms. Strong understanding of funnel metrics and how to optimize each stage. Exceptional communication skills — you’ll be presenting strategies and results to leadership.
