Understanding of statistical analysis of test data will be an added advantage. Work in close collaboration with cross-functional R&D teams to finalize the manufacturing test requirements for each of the test phases including the pass/fail criteria for a given product. Drive the new product migration from R&D to High Volume Manufacturing Phase, support technical issues & co-ordination with cross functional teams Monitor product yield, test time and DPPM. Provide technical solutions for yield improvement, TTR and DPPM reduction; and come up with detail plans and drive for implementation of the same with R&D and factory personnel. Help team members in line with the changing dynamics of the product deliverables. Effectively represent Product Engineering function in various technical and functional forums. Work with teams in different time zones, in case required. Define product DFT and test requirements Pre-PG including a) DfT-max Requirements for a new product b) translate PRD / MRDs into PTS / SCMs / PRPs for ATE test-plan definition c) design ATE HW for lowest cost solution (max multi-site, lowest pin-mux) for Si bring-up and validation Post-Si bring-up and validation of all functional and test features. This includes extensive debug that will require good knowledge of IC design and semiconductor physics, with ability to clearly isolate and root-cause issues to design margins and/or sensitivies to wafer-fab process and parametric parameters. Execute design-of-experiments with process window corner lot to establish spec compliance of each product across full wafer-fab process window. Execute qualification cycles for Si and package to automotive, industrial, and commercial standards (as per the primary product market) During these various stages of Post-Silicon validation, you will interact with various cross-functional teams such as Design, DfT, Design Validation, Program Management, QRE/CQE, and Bench Characterization and Apps development teams Qualifications Skill Sets Must haves Work experience or university project experience in Electronics and/or Semiconductors Hands on experience with Lab Equipment (Testers, Oscilloscopes, Signal Generators, Logic Analyzers) Knowledge of IC Test Methodologies, System Testing and Communication Protocols such as USB, UART, PCIe, I2C, I2S, DDR etc. Good understanding of software programs written in C, C++, C# and able to step through the code if required. Able to work comfortably with Windows and Linux Operating systems Ability to troubleshoot and analyze complex problems with minimal data points. Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines. You will be leading the Wafer Electrical Test (E-Test) and Wafer Sort Test module team for a 300mm Wafer Fab. Your role will involve ensuring quality compliance across 28nm to 110nm nodes with technology transfer partners. Collaborating with SCM and suppliers to procure top-tier tools, probe-cards, and consumables will be a crucial aspect of your responsibilities. Managing a 24x7 production test floor team of engineers and technicians will be part of your daily tasks. You will define floorplans and ensure capacity with Facilities and Industrial Engineering teams. Driving process improvements, test time reduction, and debug algorithm efficiency will also be under your purview. Coordination with integration and customer teams on test chip layouts and probe-card design will be essential. Your role will involve ensuring operational excellence, meeting performance KPIs, conducting competitor benchmarking, and developing technology roadmaps. Presenting updates to internal and customer senior executives will also be part of your responsibilities. Travel will be required as needed. You should be able to write E-test programs, familiar with load boards, probecards, SMUs, equipment hardware, and software. Understanding the equipment supplier landscape and which tools are appropriate for different technologies is crucial. An innovation mindset is desired. The ideal candidate will have 12+ years of experience in the semiconductor industry and leading cross-functional projects and teams to achieve organizational objectives. A proven track record of successfully developing and testing new technologies into high volume production, as well as structured problem-solving skills using design of experiments, 8D, and bench tools, are preferred.,
