Advanced Embedded Engineer

This role is responsible for driving technical solution improvement resulting in quality, cost, and cycle time enhancements across Displays and Graphics products/programs. You will be involved in technical solution development, including design and interface definition, in collaboration with Honeywell business partners. Demonstrating thought leadership in one or more technical disciplines, you will be responsible for identifying technical talent and coaching cross-functional teams in technical capability development. Collaboration and active networking with stakeholders for new technologies, ideas incubation, and information sharing will be a key aspect of this role. Performing competitive technology analysis and IP analysis in multiple product lines, you will advise internal and external stakeholders. Participation in Technology Trade Shows/conferences and Honeywell Technology Symposiums for knowledge sharing will also be expected. Motivating the functional team in IP creation, problem-solving in programs/products, and influencing decisions for project design are among the key responsibilities. You will drive projects and guide the team in resolving technical issues, actively participating in the technical aspects of the Integrated Product Development and Supply Cycle. Your role will involve collaborating with software architects and chiefs to drive design effectiveness and human factors considerations. Embodying and role modeling Honeywell behaviors and values will be essential. Guiding teams for effective implementation of systems and subsystems, coaching in the application of processes and tools, and driving strong Basis of Estimates will also be part of your responsibilities. Participating in program software architecture, design, and requirement reviews, strategically owning and driving key software initiatives, and establishing a strong MOS with various experts will be expected. Acting as a liaison between Displays & Graphics and the Database team for database development will also be a key aspect of this role. **Qualifications:** - Expert in C & C++ programming - Hands-on experience in system requirements development - Good technical knowledge of Avionics Architectures/platforms - Experience in system level testing and integration - Knowledge of Configuration Management Systems like BitBucket, SVN is an added advantage - Experience in Systems Life Cycle stages and exposure to AGILE methodology - Proactive problem-solving ability - Effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing **Qualification:** BE/B.Tech, M.E/M.Tech **Experience:** 6 to 10 years of work experience in Aerospace systems About Us: Honeywell helps organizations tackle complex challenges in automation, aviation, and energy transition.
