Key Responsibilities: Procurement of Critical Components: Handle end-to-end sourcing and procurement of precision-machined parts , valves , hydraulic fittings , and hydraulic components (pumps, cylinders, manifolds, etc.). Generate and manage Purchase Requisitions (PRs) and Purchase Orders (POs) in ERP systems (e.g., SAP/Oracle). Ensure quality and timely delivery aligned with NPD and production requirements. Vendor Development & Management: Identify and develop suppliers for machined, valve, and hydraulic components. Regularly visit vendor facilities for supplier audits , process follow-up , and quality alignment . Maintain strong supplier relationships and ensure compliance with company quality and delivery standards. Costing & Strategic Sourcing: Conduct market analysis and benchmarking for cost estimation of machined and hydraulic parts. Negotiate with suppliers to achieve competitive pricing, favorable terms, and long-term cost savings. Support NPD costing requirements and BOM-based sourcing activities. Technical Coordination: Interpret and communicate engineering drawings, tolerance requirements, hydraulic specifications, and quality standards. Collaborate with the NPD, design, and quality teams to ensure supplier understanding and execution of technical requirements. Troubleshoot supplier queries related to manufacturability, standards, or special features. Inventory & Delivery Monitoring: Track delivery schedules and follow up with vendors to ensure timely material availability. Coordinate with stores and production for stock monitoring, GRN issues, and incoming quality compliance. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain procurement records, supplier quotes, delivery performance, and price histories. Provide regular reports on sourcing performance, cost savings, delays, and supplier ratings. Candidate Profile: Education: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech – Mechanical or Production Engineering Experience: 3–8 years in procurement/sourcing of machined components, valves, and hydraulic parts Key Skills: Strong understanding of machining, valve types (check, relief, directional), and hydraulic systems/components Ability to read mechanical and hydraulic circuit drawings ERP proficiency (SAP preferred) Good commercial negotiation skills Willingness to travel regularly to supplier locations for audits, development, and issue resolution Preferred Attributes: Experience in NPD procurement with component-level responsibility Familiarity with ISO/IATF 16949 and supplier evaluation criteria Proactive in vendor development and cost reduction initiatives Strong communication, coordination, and documentation abilities Reporting To: Manager – New Product Development (NPD) CTC Range: 6LPA Joining: Immediate / As per notice period
