Job Description

An advanced Excel skills job description requires expertise in complex formula creation, data analysis, VBA programming, and creating interactive dashboards to automate tasks and generate reports. Responsibilities often include developing and maintaining complex spreadsheets, ensuring data accuracy, providing analytical support, and training others on Excel functionalities. Key Responsibilities

  • Spreadsheet Development:Design, develop, and maintain complex Excel models, spreadsheets, and custom templates for data analysis and reporting.
  • Data Analysis:Analyze and interpret large and complex data sets, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and integrity.
  • Automation:Automate repetitive tasks and data processing through macros and Visual Basic for Applications (VBA).
  • Reporting & Dashboards:Create advanced pivot tables, charts, and interactive dashboards for effective data visualization and communication.
  • Collaboration:Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and provide analytical support.
  • Data Management:Perform data validation, quality checks, and assist in maintaining databases.
  • Troubleshooting & Documentation:Troubleshoot and resolve Excel-related issues, and provide detailed documentation for all developed tools and processes.
  • Training:Train and support team members on advanced Excel functions and best practices.

Essential Skills

  • Advanced Formulas: Expertise in complex formulas, array functions, and custom formulas (e.g., INDEX, MATCH, SUMIFS, COUNTIFS).
  • Power Query and Power Pivot: Skills in data transformation and data modeling for advanced data handling.
  • PivotTables & PivotCharts: Proficient use for data summarization and dynamic reporting.
  • Macros & VBA: Recording, modifying, and writing VBA scripts to automate processes.
  • Data Visualization: Creating impactful and insightful charts and graphs.
  • Data Validation & Cleaning: Techniques to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Conditional Formatting: Using conditional formatting to highlight patterns and insights.
  • Problem-Solving: Researching and finding solutions for unfamiliar Excel problems.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
