As a full-time Java Backend/Integration Developer at our office in Mumbai, you will be responsible for developing software and integrating systems using Java EE. You should hold a B.Tech./B.E/MCA degree in Computer Science, Information Systems/Technology, or Mathematics from Tier-1 universities. Having 5+ years of experience in object-oriented programming, Algorithmic optimizations, and multithreading is required. Your expertise in Client/Server architecture, HTTP Protocols, WS, REST/SOAP, JSON, XML, and web-standards will be essential. You should possess a deep understanding of caching and optimization techniques and frameworks, with a strong background in relational databases, especially MySQL. Experience with highly scalable, distributed, open-source (NoSQL) systems like BigQuery and RedShift, along with cloud development and deployment (AWS, Google Cloud, etc.) will be beneficial. In this role, you will work with the core founding team to develop mobile products focusing on social and e-commerce industries. Your responsibilities will include designing and coding programs, running unit tests, collaborating with cross-functional teams to introduce new features, and optimizing queries, chaining, and caching for improved application performance. You will also design front-end interfaces, APIs, and backend systems across multiple programming languages, with a focus on Java, RESTful Services, DB (NoSQL) frameworks, and JavaScript. Additionally, integrating with third-party data sources using Scrapping, ERP, and Services Integration is part of the job. You will be expected to maintain disciplined use of source control and bug tracking systems, participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality code creation, and actively engage in mentoring and skills transfer to junior team members. Experience in the software development lifecycle, including analysis, installation, testing, and problem resolution, will be advantageous, especially in social networking and e-commerce domains.
